We have recently learned that consumers are receiving counterfeit MGA Insurance Company, Inc checks. These checks are usually sent unsolicited to individuals along with a letter purportedly indicating that the recipient has won a sweepstakes, and that the MGA Insurance Company, Inc check is for any expenses the recipient may incur in obtaining their winnings. The envelopes that these checks and letters are being mailed in appear to originate in Canada.

If you have received one of these checks, do not cash or deposit it. Please mail or fax a photocopy of the contents of the packet, including the envelope, to our company:
